Overview of our hospital
Chia-Yi Christian Hospital (CYCH), founded in 1958, is a non-profit, faith-based regional teaching hospital operated by the Ditmanson Medical Foundation. Our founder, Dr. Marcy Ditmanson, was a medical missionary from Minnesota, USA. Located in central-southern Taiwan, CYCH serves as a medical and spiritual anchor for the community, providing integrated services from primary to partial tertiary care. Our hospital emphasizes holistic, patient-centered and community-based care. CYCH is also committed to medical education and research through innovation and cross-institutional collaboration.

The main institution under Ditmanson Medical Foundation is CYCH. Double Blessing Christian Hospital, a district level hospital, will open in Minxiong, Chia-Yi County next year. And another district level- Yizhu Christian Hospital is under application process. There are also affiliated long-term care facilities and community healthcare units in our system. CYCH also operates two polyclinics, one in Chia-Yi City and the other in Chia-Yi County.
